Unable to take that field trip, attend camp, or have that off-site meeting this year? Bradford Woods is still here to support you through virtual program models. Our staff have expertise in a broad range of topics and can tailor any session to meet the needs of your group. Categories include team development, recreational therapy, and educational initiatives. Our programs are designed to not be “just another Zoom meeting,” but will include interactive and engaging activities driving conversations and action steps for positive group development. Each session is from 1-3 hours in length. Scheduling for both weekday and weekends is available.
The virtual communication workshop was a great success and it really kickstarted our groups’ camaraderie and communication. I noticed several board members were already applying things they learned from your session, such as asking questions and not assuming everyone was on the same page.

Working in a virtual space has both pros and cons. Come to this session to learn how to work through the challenges and build on the strengths of the team in this alternative workspace. We will focus on effective communication and how we can best communicate with one another when we are unable to meet meet face-to-face.
Communication happens all the time in a multitude of ways through subtle cues, eye contact, body language, verbal and written communication. Effective communication takes time and practice. Come to this session to re-learn how to be in a group space together when Zoom meetings have been the norm.
Most teams have encountered some level of change in more recent months. This can naturally cause unrest, diminished morale, and disconnectedness. This session is designed to build group cohesion by coming back to the basis of human connection – engagement with one another to socialize and have fun. This session works well in a 1-hour format.
Goals come in all shapes, sizes, and quantities. Some goals are long term, and some are short term. Some are large and grand, and some are baby steps. Regardless of the type of goal, goals help drive us to grow. This session will have participants focus on a long-term goal, and break it down into achievable outcomes using the SMART goal method.
Groups will use the time together to create their own visual of how they manage their personal time. Through understanding needs, urgencies, and extra-curricular engagement, participants will be able to see how they can prioritize their time to ensure a well-rounded life.
Through consultation with the group, Bradford Woods staff will facilitate a book club. Books can range from environmental education, leadership, fiction, biographies, and more. Facilitation can be making meaning of the book in connection to the organization, through a lens of team development and growth, or understanding different perspectives.
Organizations are only as successful as their progress towards their vision. Has your organization achieved part of your mission and are looking to grow? Have you realized your current vision isn’t a fit for what the organization is trying to achieve? Are you a new group looking to develop a brand new vision? This session will guide participants through the different stages of creating vision, mission, and values for your organization.
Leadership is more than getting tasks accomplished, leadership also means developing relationships. This is session, focusing on emotional intelligence, will guide participants through the three capacities of emotional intelligence. Understanding ourselves, others, and the context in which we cooperate, allows leaders to understand the importance of quality relationships in creating change.
